How to Deactivate or Freeze the Users in Salesforce -

Deactivating the Users -

In Salesforce we can not delete the user, but we can deactivate or freeze the user account so the user can not able to log in to Salesforce.

Steps to Deactivating the Users - 

                        1. Go to Setup

                        2. In the quick find box enter 'Users'

                        3. Click on Users

                        4. Click on the User which you want to Deactivate

                        5. Click Edit

                        6. Deselect the Active checkbox

                        7. Save

 

Freeing the User -

Using Freezing a user we can temporarily prevent a user from logging in. When any user leaves the organization, we can freeze their account because their account was selected in the custom hierarchy field or workflow email alert. so we have cleaned up the assigned to them. after cleaning up we can deactivate the user.

Steps to Deactivating the Users - 

    

                    1. Go to Setup

                    2. In the quick find box enter 'Users' 

                    3. Click on Users

                    4. Click on the User which you want to Freeze

                    5. Click on the Freeze
