Ans - Permission Sets are similar to the profile and permission sets are used to give some extra access to the particular user.
How to Create Permission Sets in Salesforce?
1. Go to Setup
2. In the Quick Find Box search Permission Sets
3. Select Permission Sets under Manage Users Section
4. Click on New
5. Enter the Label and Select Salesforce License
6. Click on Save
